Thumbprint Gallery Brings you Sacred Geometry: Mandala Art featuring Exist1981 and More

You know you've seen the weird Frank-N-Furter orgasm face stickers all over town (I'm probably misclassifying, but that's what I think every time I see them), and Exist 1981 has put together another awesome collection.  If you were at his show with Tocayo at Subtext last year, you'll know he has some killer pieces that are not just Rocky Horro-inspired.  This new show will be at Basic Urban Kitchen on March 19, and is free to the public so not only do you get to see some free art, but drink some amazing wines and beers while you're at it.  Links to event page, Exist1981's FB, and Basic's website below.  See you there!

Bailey (Metalheadz) Coming to SD Union 3/16/13

SD Union is a Drum N Bass monthly in San Diego, and the only organization pulling big names like Bailey in this town at the moment.  Usually the venue is the Ruby Room, a super-chill bar in Hillcrest with a good sound system and reasonably-priced drinks.  Don't tell anyone, but Shawn also lets be bring in my own diet tonic for my T&Ts.  I'll be mentioning both these guys quite a lot, as they're really doing a lot to keep my favorite music scene alive in SD.  All relevant information is below, including a link to a Bailey performance, in case you've had your head up your ass for the past 5 years.

First Reviews Coming Up!

Ok!  More or less up-and-running, and I already have so much content to post!  I went to this tonight, and it blew my mind:

I'll be talking to James, the event organizer, from Us & Them tomorrow, so it'll kind of turn into an interview as well.  Lots of pics and links to come on that.

I also just heard Empress' new track, so I'll be doing a little review for that.  Spoiler alert: it's hot!

TONS of events to post as well - Machete's given me his Respect lineup for the next 5 years or so, and there's loads of one-off events coming up.  Bear with me on this, I have a lot of organizing to do on this page.
